Dr. Brian Shockey earned his undergraduate BS degree in Biology at Southwestern Adventist University. In 1986 he earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine at Loma Linda, CA. From there he completed his Internal Medicine Residency , Kettering Medical Center at Kettering, OH. Dr. Shockey passed the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1987, the Federal Licensing Examination in 1989, and was board certified in Internal Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1994. He is a board certified member of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPS).
He is currently on active staff at Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore. In his years at Mercy Memorial he has served as Chief of Medicine, on the Executive Committee, Credentials Committee, Pharmacy and Formulary committees. He is currently admitting patients and performing consultations in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at his private practice clinic, at several nursing homes and in the hospital.
